You have to express more your opinion to attract more readers, because just a video or plain text without any personal approach is not that valuable. But it is just form my point of view

Hi Giovanni,
Loved your first article for Fast. It prompted me to look into e-books as a way to reduce the need for bookshelves, be more green, etc.. The idea of carrying x hundreds or thousands of books on a light book-size device is very appealing. I was quite surprised, and disappointed, that my hunger cannot be satisfied. I first looked into Kindle, due to ability to buy/download Amazon books. Much to my surprise Kindle does not allow handwriting (notes, etc.), which is such a big part of a productive / professional reading experience. Neither does iPad apparently (correct me if I'm wrong). It's rather strange considering the stylus is not a new invention and there are devices out there that allow designers to draw on screen for instance. Samsung devices do offer this handwriting ability but book supply seems limited. So it looks like there's serious opportunity for improvement/next gen device.
Best,

This is one of the most annoying and LONG commercials--and that is saying alot when your competition is other drugs and insurance.
How much longer do we have to be inflicted with this ranting?!?!?
Take it off the air!!!!!

With the other author mentioned in the entry...yes. It was a proprietary system put in place in a fairly painful manner. Thankfully there were much smarter people in place to make it work.

As a line of work I now architect and design products using many across the board. I've worked on everything from Drupal and Joomla through Vignette and SDL Tridion.

I see your point about more support being available for open source products. The danger I see however, is hiring a support company to rectify a problem that might be a result of customizations rather than hiring the company who's product it is. There's much more at stake for a product company to service you appropriately (My company screws up and I lose potential reoccurring license costs for example). Therefore I'm much more comfortable leveraging non opensource companies to support their products.

many open source cms's are starting to have support - drupal being a fine example. many companies exist that provide support for drupal.

did you ever decide on a cms?
